Every April, the Alexandria community comes together for something special. Spring2ACTion, the city’s annual Giving Day, returns for its 15th year on Tuesday, April 9, 2025—a 24-hour opportunity to support the many nonprofit organizations that make a lasting impact right here in our neighborhoods.
Among those is The Men’s Home, a recovery residence that’s been serving Alexandria since 1952. Through community support, we’ve helped thousands of men begin new lives rooted in sobriety, service, and stability. But we can’t do it alone.
This Giving Day, we’re asking for your help.
From 12:00am to 11:59pm on April 9, you can make a donation that directly supports our mission to provide a safe, structured, and sober living environment for men in recovery. Every dollar goes toward keeping our doors open and our programs strong.

You don’t have to wait for April 9 to make an impact—early giving opens March 25 and runs through April 8 at 11:59pm.
